BLS reported Salt Lake City-Murray manufacturing employment at 63,300 in March 2026, preliminary and not seasonally adjusted.

EDCUtah said Stadler announced plans to add 250 jobs and invest $75 million in Salt Lake City over the next 15 years.

Utah GOEO said Karman Space & Defense plans to add 100 jobs and invest $28,502,500 in Utah through a Salt Lake County expansion.

Utah GOEO also said Karman’s Salt Lake-area manufacturing hub is tied to propulsion, payload protection, and hydro/aerodynamic interstage systems.
